Cascade Flights Drone Photography Site (redirect)
Photography will still be stored here, but my main focus will be on amateur radio.
Having lived near the Cascade mountains, Pacific Coast, Puget Sound, and the Pacific Migratory Flyway made exploring SW Washington a photographer’s treasure. My main outdoor studio was the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge where migratory birds took the stage.
Look closely to the right and you may be able to pick out a one day old kildeer chick. The eggs are laid in rocky areas where they are very difficult to see. If you get too close, the female will fly away a short ways and fain injury to lure you from her offspring.
We’ve since moved to The South where we have lots of birds and wildlife in our own backyard and 230+ days of sunshine.
